Why Brite does not provide regulated personal care

Brite operates as an employment business: we recruit and supply temporary workers to established care providers. We do not contract with service users to deliver personal care.

The client remains responsible for its regulated service, including assessments, care plans, supervision, medicines arrangements, clinical direction and reporting. This explanation is general information rather than regulatory or legal advice.

Safer recruitment

Evidence reviewed for each role and assignment

Requirements vary. We do not claim that every worker holds every qualification, training course or type of check.

Identity & right to work

Identity documents and eligibility to work are verified.

DBS checks

Enhanced DBS and Adults’ Barred List checks are reviewed where the role is eligible and the check is appropriate.

References

Suitable references and employment history are reviewed against assignment needs.

Training & competency

Role-relevant evidence is checked, with client-specific requirements confirmed before supply.

Safeguarding commitment

Workers are expected to follow the client’s safeguarding procedures, report concerns promptly and act within their assigned role. Concerns about Brite can be raised through our complaints process.
